ACID BABY JESUS AT AUSTIN PSYCH FEST 5!

Last week I got home from my second USA tour with Acid Baby Jesus!  We traveled all all of the way across the states and even made it to Puerto Rico for a few dates.  One of the major highlights of this tour was the 5th Annual Austin Psych Fest!  The guys got to share the stage with so many amazing bands!  Here are a few videos that I made of the ABJs playing at Emo's East!

Damo Q pays tribute to Slovenly Rock'n'Roll Bar (in italian)

The Slovenly Rock'n'roll Bar existed from February 2003 until October 2004 in the historic center of Naples, Italy. Not sure what the occasion was, but Damo Q recently wrote this and sent it to a few mongos. Try translate.google.com if you have a hard time reading Italian.

Eccoci qui a onorare il posto piu' fico del mondo.
Che come tutte le cose veramente fiche, esiste ormai solo nella nostra mente!

Come dimenticare mura lerce e puzzolenti, areatori rotti che piu' di una volta hanno fatto sfiorare il morto ai concerti, dami, valderrami, gruppi autoreferenziali, autolesionisti, liquidi corporei di Banana sparsi un po' ovunque, cocktails(?) rigorosamente senza ghiaccio, ghiaccio(?) in esilio da ciao pizza e locali attigui, portini über alles, amori nati e morti (o nati morti?), efedrine & co, busti di licastro su Benedetto Croce, newsletter conservate tutte rigorosamente (ma cancellate da provider internet poco romantici), attacchinaggi surreali, lo stesso vico percorso piu' di 20 volte al giorno (per 3 anni), metallari analcolici, cineforums, goonies vs. total baracus, scorpioni, cessi rotti per anni interi, mongoloid r'n'r, ostaggi presi per notti intere e costretti a sentire le B-side dei Police e degli Husker Du, "io non mischio alcolici, se lo vuoi fattelo tu", "damino prova sto cocktail che ho inventato, 'mbare", gatti randoni, irruzioni della polizia che manco a baghdad, capodanni allucinogeni, rapine, parcheggi contro le leggi della fisica, nemico = sandali amici senegalesi e peroni grandi a 1 euro, backsage diventati case, buchi nel palco, concerti al buio, concerti con 200 persone in 90mq, concerti con 1 persona in 90mq, panico da auto-suggestione, torelli killer ...

Un posto che piu' che essere rimasto nel nostro cuore, ha proprio contribuito a danneggiarlo irreparabilmente! Nel vero senso della parola!

Un posto che ha cambiato la vita di una cifra di persone... in peggio, ovviamente!

Un posto in cui anche Benedetto XVI avrebbe capito che e' inutile pregare, perche' tanto il giorno del giudizio e' gia' venuto, e i morti gia' camminano sulla terra!!!

Se sei scemo, COME ON!!!
